Bed Bases Made To The Inch
we can supply bed bases in any size width or length you need to the nearest
inch - length and width are optional and depth is from a minimum
of 3 inch for strength reasons to 8 inch. we can supply a full divan size bed base. we will advise on
measuring up and the fitting your bed base.
Bed Base Features
All our bed bases are delivered in two halves for ease of
transportation and access. Brass linking plates are supplied to
ensure both halves of the base fit together correctly.
Beds With Bolt Fixings
If your bed or bed stead has bolt fixings we can make the base
with "cut outs" this means a small section is taken out
from the bottom edge of the bed base on each corner so that the base
flies over the bolts and lies flat.
Side clips
small brass arms which swing over the side irons and help hold
the bed base in place
Strong Steel Brackets
These are screwed to the inside of wooden side rails to support
the bed base Available at £3 each
Type Of Bed Base
The foundation of a bed can be as important as the mattress in terms
of support. we produce two types of bed base
Sprung centre bed base - Only
available in bases over 5 inches deep The centre of the bed base is
sprung, whilst the edges of the bed base are firm to provide an
overall medium support to your mattress.
Platform Top - Our most popular
Platform Top bed base provides a firm base with a hard top for
firmer support and more stability.
Anti Dust Mite Protection
Another cause of poor sleep is the House Dust Mite. The average
bed can be home to millions of microscopic mites. Their droppings
easily become airborne and when inhaled or come into contact with
the skin, can trigger asthma, eczema and dust related allergies.
together our bases are covered with a range of Hypo-allergenic
ticking for added comfort. What’s more, our mattresses are treated
with anti dust mite protection (ADP), to try to ensure a dust mite
free base and mattress right to the deepest fibres. A welcome relief
for allergy, asthma or eczema sufferers.
Upholstery Fabric
All our bed bases and mattresses conform to the most stringent
flame resistance regulations and are put through quality control and
inspection procedures so our customers can be assured of the
ultimate in health and safety.
We can supply bed bases in a selection of covers so if you have
an existing mattress we can provide the base in a similar colour
fabric.
